René Burri is one of the photographer members of the highly prestigious Magnum Photos agency. Retrospectives of his work regularly circulate round the world’s museums, such as the Rotterdam Kunsthalle where he can be seen until 22 August.

But René Burri is also a member of the Nouvelles Images “family” and it’s with great pleasure that we publish today 20 of his photos as postcards, greeting cards, prints and bookmarks to accompany this exhibition.

Selected and designed with the photographer’s help, these photos offer a forceful summary of his work in black and white.
