Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy

Nouvelles Images was following the principles of Sustainable Development long before it became "fashionable"!

Every day for over 50 years, we have made every effort to move and delight people with the images that we publish and distribute.

In taking on the role assigned to the company by its founder Jacques Blanc - "making art accessible to as many people as possible" – we thus contribute towards “everyone’s right to freely participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts and share (…) in the resulting benefits*” on a daily basis, for everyone.

*(article 27 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948)

This role of building bridges between art and the general public is what unites our employees in their efforts and sets the foundations of our responsibility:

=> An economic and qualitative responsibility:

To arouse emotion by publishing products faithful to the original works, and through an innovative, open, quality-based editorial policy.

To offer image products that most people can afford and which, through their sale, provide a fair remuneration for our artists and ensure that the company grows in a sustainable manner.

=> An environmental responsibility:

This emotion would have no sense if it was produced to the detriment of an inexhaustible source of wonder: Nature.

By measuring and reducing the environmental impact of our activity and products, we seek to ensure that they remain compatible with the maintenance of biodiversity and ecosystems.

=> Social responsibility:

Reaching out to as many people as possible means, first of all, being attentive to the needs of our customers, our employees, the artists with whom we work, our suppliers and partners and, more generally, society.

Our partner "La Maison de Loire du Loiret"

Sustainable Development is an economic development model based on 3 themes: environmental, social and economic.

In 2011, as part of its Sustainable Development approach, Nouvelles Images joined forces with "La Maison de Loire du Loiret" and pays it a percentage of the profit made on sales of the "I love my planet" collection.

The "La Maison de Loire du Loiret" association aims to advise and inform the general public and school children about the natural and cultural heritage of the River Loire through walks near the Loire, educational projects adapted to educational establishments, exhibitions and studies carried out in the countryside around the Loire. It is an environmental education association.

As a result of Nouvelles Images’ commitment, "La Maison la Loire du Loiret" is able to offer its public new options. Nouvelles Images is thus working to provide the public with information on environmental issues, and also to preserve the environment.
