Michael Kenna Retrospective

From 13 October 2009 to 24 January 2010, the French National Library is presenting a retrospective of 210 photographs from the work of Michael Kenna.

At the same time, the French National Library is offering a Michael Kenna Retrospective, from 13 October 09 to 24 January 2010.

A Knight of the order of the arts and literature, Michael Kenna has spent over 30 years photographing landscapes in black-and-white, in an intimate, dreamlike atmosphere.

This world-famous photographer regularly returns to his favourite places: Japan, Mont St Michel, the Peterhof in Russia.

His works are now exhibited in galleries across the world and form part of the permanent collection of many museums (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Musée Carnavalet, Paris, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, etc.).

The exhibition is part of Paris Photo and Photoquai.
