Jane Evelyn Atwood

From 29 June to 25 September, the Maison Européenne de la Photographie is dedicating a retrospective to the American photographer Jane Atwood.
Six series representing thirty-five years’ work are on show at the MEP: prostitutes, blind people, women in prison, Jean-Louis/Living and dying of AIDS, victims of anti-personnel mines and Haiti. Photographs that are not well known to the general public are also on exhibition.
A rich, original retrospective in honour of a photographer who takes an interest in social issues and the disadvantaged.
